Stewart Island
We spent a couple of nights on Stewart Island. We stayed in the magical castle of Anyta and Peter, built by Peter using upcycled materials and decorated by Anita with secondhand treasures. There were beautiful views over the Southern Ocean, hot rocks out of the stove to keep warm and a cosy bed under the roof. We spent a day on Ulva Island, a pest free gem of conservation, where we got acquainted with the local birds and native nature. Thanks Peter and Anyta for a wonderful time!
