It ain’t easy being a windmill
On our way to the lower North Island, where we will be house-sitting for a couple of weeks, we came past New Zealand's first large scale windfarm. It is situated in the Tararua Ranges, which are known for strong winds. New Zealand has a lot of potential for clean wind energy, thanks to it's long coastline and mountain ranges.
