Car papers lost!
We had a bit of a setback. The day our visa's for Malawi expired, we couldn't find our car papers. We searched through all our bags and the whole car... We decided to phone the Dutch consul in Malawi. He advised us to drive back to Blantyre to extend our visa's and sort things out. Back in Blantyre we started retracing all our steps and within 24 hours we discovered where we lost our papers: We left them in a hotel and the manager brought the folder to the police. They informed all borderposts, but when we got there this was already forgotten, because 13 days had past. Now we've got the papers back, and we can stay another month in Malawi, if we want...
