Back into the Northern Hemisphere
Yesterday we crossed back into the Nothern Hemisphere, after 359 days on the Southern half of the globe. We're in Qatar now, probably one of the strangest countries in the world. Doha is a fast growing city, build in the desert with money made from oil and gas. Petrol is cheaper than water here. As a result, Qatar has the highest carbon footprint per capita, but also ambitions to become more sustainable. We're curious to see if that ambition is visible in some way. Unfortunately Willemijn fell ill, after a hectic few last days in Indonesia, so we might spent most of our time here drinking tea with honey and lemon, trying to get better.
