Ecomodernist Manifesto
This manifesto most eloquently explores a world where decoupling of human well-being from environmental impact leads to a thriving humankind and a healthy planet. Although I doubt their statement that a single city dweller has less impact than a rural living person, they are making a lot of sense. As a sucker for paradoxes I wonder: might stepping out of nature as humankind be the best way to be able to continue enjoying nature in all it's diversity?
